ALDI Ground Lease Sale Arranged Date July 11, 2019
The Boulder Group, a net leased investment brokerage firm, has completed the sale of a new construction net leased ALDI ground lease property located at 20 Litchfield Plaza in Litchfield, Illinois for $1,675,000.
The 3.35 Aldi ground lease property is strategically located in a dominant regional shopping center. Litchfield Plaza draws from an extensive trade are of over 30 miles. Retails in the trade corridor include Walmart Supercenter, Walgreens Dollar General and McDonald’s. The property is located just off of Interstate 55 and is along a primary north-south thoroughfare. Aldi relocated from its previous location into this larger format store due to their strong performance.
Randy Blankstein and Jimmy Goodman of The Boulder Group represented the buyer in the transaction. The seller is a private real estate company and the buyer is a Midwest based investor in a 1031 exchange.
