Seeking Commercial Real Estate Analyst

The  Boulder  Group is a  boutique investment  real estate  services firm  specializing in  the investment sales of single tenant net lease properties. The firm provides a full range of brokerage, advisory, and financing services nationwide to a substantial and diversified client base, which includes high net worth individuals, developers, REITs, partnerships and institutional investment funds. Founded in 1997, the firm has arranged the acquisition and disposition of over $4 billion of single tenant net lease real estate transactions. From 2010-2016, the firm was ranked in the top 10 companies in the nation for single tenant retail transactions by CoStar and Real Capital Analytics.

Position:

The Boulder Group is seeking a commercial real estate analyst to assist with marketing, research, underwriting, and other real estate responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

 Prepare property offering memorandums, proposals and presentations for new assignments

• Review and analyze leases, loan documents, and other third-party reports as typical in a transactional due diligence process
• Perform financial modeling and spreadsheet analysis in Excel including cash flow models, cash-on-cash return, NPV/IRR analysis and discounted cash flow
• Research property records for ownership information
• Maintain property databases
• Assist in net lease market research
• Support transaction due diligence and closing processes as required

This position will report directly to the principals and provide the support needed for the majority of business development initiatives. This is an exciting and demanding environment that requires a self-starter that is willing to work hard and requires minimal supervision. A qualified candidate should be able to prioritize and meet deadlines and be capable of working independently with a strong attention to detail.

Candidate must possess a degree from a competitive national university in real estate, finance, economics or a closely related field; or have worked for a commercial real estate firm previously. Candidate should have advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher and PowerPoint and familiarity with Real Capital Analytics, CoStar and ARGUS.
